Throughout the year we donate to many fundraisers and causes, large and small. Our main fundraiser every year is our Holiday Open House & Cocktail Soirée (and day of giving back!). We fluff and twirl and dress up Pomegranate for the holidays. She's filled with sweet treats to eat, to buy, to ponder... and in the evening, we open up our infamous ice bar (outside) and serve Robert's special Pometinis. It's even more fun if it's snowing, because you get to tromp around between the buildings with cocktail in hand. Perhaps the best part? We donate 10% of the day's revenues to charity, choosing a different one each year. Over the years, we've been able to give between $400 and $800 to The Sparrow Club, HospiceCenter, The Humane Society, Assistance League of Bend, and many others near and dear to our hearts. Our annual Testers & Oddballs "sale" is another great fundraiser. At the beginning of each year, we gather all our good testers, onesies, oddballs, bits and pieces, and put them all out on the front porch with an honor jar. You take what you want, and pay what you wish. At the end of the month we add it all up and take it to the Humane Society (Mollie the shop dog's favorite charity). This year, we brought in a more than $300, thanks to everybody's generous donations.
